Blue Paradise is the Smurf Collectors' Fair held annually by sisters Veronique and Michelle Leyseele. It is a wonderful family event where fun and friendship is almost more important than our little blue friends, the Smurfs!
The 2009 Blue Paradise Smurf Fair was held in Evergem, Belgium on 8 November and was a huge success. There were more traders than last year with even more smurf goodies and a Schleich stand. Both visitors and traders went home very happy, all promising to come again next year. As well as coffee and cakes provided by the wonderful Mama Leyseele, there was a burger and frites stall that also did very well and was a welcome addition to the event.
